I bought the same size as my child's usual speedo size which does run a bit tighter as most racing suits do. The neckline is a bit lower than expected but otherwise my daughter loves this suit and the material. The blue is very 'royal blue' and bright and visible (stands out in a sea of black racing suits!). Overall the suit is very flattering and durable - this suit has taken a beating almost daily (if not 2x a day) since we got it! Definitely recommend it if you like the thinner straps and overall cut. I would consider sizing up if not used for swim team as some kids don't like the tighter fit.

Beautiful swimsuit for racing. Love the material. It seems like it will last even though she is only using for competition. Due to the material it does not have a ton of stretch like some other suits. It fit very snug. Ordered a size 24 for my 9 year old.

They say this suit is meant to fit tight but it is REALLY TIGHT. I followed the size guidelines but would purchase the next size up next time. Great quality suit and I would recommend it to a friend.
