This suit is a true size 12-14 girls. It's been in chlorine nearly daily with no signs of wear. Just get it. The tank is on the longer side so a good option vs a one piece.

Bottoms run very small and are WAY too cheeky for a little girl. They were the correct size in terms of overall fit (i.e., not too tight, not too loose), but my adorable 6 year old with very typical proportions had to either pull the bottoms up and show half of her bum or pull them down to cover her cheeks and show some crack.Do better, Speedo. It shouldn't be that hard to design a suit for little girls that covers their entire bottom and stays put while swimming.Returning.

We love the look of this swimsuit but my kiddo has worn it about a month (rotated with other suits) and the bottoms are getting thin and a bit see-through, which is disappointing given the price of the suit and the reputation of the brand.

Size 8 was a bit tight on my (slightly less than) average sized 7 year old. Does not have the "no wedgie" rubber strip by bottom like other Speedo swimsuits do.

Cute print but sized very small. I recommend sizing up at least 1-2 sizes
