I am starting to swim laps and thought this would be a good suit for that. This bathing suit fit fine through the hips but was extremely tight on my legs, especially at the leg opening, which is unusual because my legs are really thin. I returned them and did not try another size - I didn't think something larger would fit well through the hips. So, kind of a first for me. Nothing has ever been too tight on my skinny legs before...4/17/12 - It's been 2 years since I posted this review and I've learned a lot about swimming and swimming apparel. After I returned these I ended up buying some Speedo jammers size 32 from a local sports store. It doesn't take long for these to relax a little and soon the 32's were not quite as tight as I would have liked. When I bought again, I bought the 30s and that's all I buy now. Yes, they are a little tight when they are new but when they stretch a little, and they will a little, they are fine.As far as quality goes, they are good quality, pretty much like the rest of the Speedo products I have.

I am a fairly recent convert to jammers. I swim about a mile 4 to 6 days a week. This is my third pair and this is far and away the best pair I've owned. I have a pair of TYR solid jammers and a barracuda pair (that I recently lost). I got this one because my TYR pair is about 8 months old and starting to feel like it is wearing out. The speedos have lycra in them and feel very slick. I read on other reviews that they were a little tight so I ordered the 34 and I am glad I did. I have very big thighs and I don't know if I could wear a 32. And they aren't too loose in the waste either even though I'm easily a 33 waste and wear some 32s. They also fit well in the crotch and aren't too tight there like the barracuda pair I lost. One week in and I'm very happy with them and would recommend them to anyone.

The size is about right. A bit tight at the beginning but it loosens up a little after a few days. I would say this is probably a good product for this price but it has two issues.First, the color doesn't hold up. I've had it for about 3 months and I swim about 6 times a week. I bought a black one which now looks light grey when dry and dark grey when wet.Second, The discoloring seems not even. The middle part is more severe. And it looks a bit transparent from behind. Not too bad yet. But I'm looking for a new and better one.I am still giving it 4 stars for two reasons:1. Discoloring is to be expected considering the added chemicals in the pool.2. I bought this one partly because it's one of the cheaper ones and the average review is good. So I got what I paid for, I guess.

This suit is great. I do water aerobics and this allows me free movement unlike the trunk style suits.I where a 38 waist and I ordered a 38 which fit well.I did notice that after aerobics I went and sat in the hottub which has a roughened seating area and it casues a obvious wear mark on the rear of the suit. I think I need to be carefull how roughly I rub my rear on the rough stuff. This suit has a front liner which helps to smooth the frontal bulge and make it more diffused. The is a white draw string at the wait. For me the legs are a little long. I have short thights. My inseam is 30. the bottom of the leg comes to right at the top of the knee. The suit feels better in water than when I first tried it on.If it lasts a year I will be happy, I just need to not rub to hard on the hottub seats.UpdateI find that there is not obvious wear from the rough hottub seat. I was seeing a strange abberation from washing them in the shower. Good quality. I will change to a five.

I bought this jammer for my college club swim team. It is very comfortable, I wear a size 34, and I went with the 36, which fit fine. I have nothing bad to say about this jammer, although it does have some fraying on the thighs from use, but this isn't a big deal. I've had the jammer for about 2 months so far, and I'm much faster in it than I am in just a regular swim suit. Just make sure you rinse the jammer after swimming so it doesn't deteriorate from the chlorine.*UPDATE*I've had this jammer for about 3 months now and it's started to deteriorate. The are around the butt has become white and frizzy on the inside and out. This isn't a big deal, it just looks kind of funky.

I regret to confirm the complaints about this swimsuit wearing thin and wearing out prematurely. my wife bought the suit for me in May, 2014. The suit fits fine, but after 20-25 swims has now worn so thin in the back that it is see-through and I can't wear it in public-not really what I had in mind for a jammer/swimsuit. I estimate the per swim cost at about $1.75 per swim.. Now looking for a durable replacement.

I got a little scared that I had ordered the wrong size, after reading all the reviews that said they were too small. I wear a size 32, and ordered a size 32. Personally, I think these fit just fine. Yes, they are very snug, but isn't that how they are supposed to be? I had no problem wearing them through my entire swimming session. They have a liner in the front as well as a string at the waist (though I had no need to tie the top any tighter). I can't say how long they will last, but the fabric seems pretty durable as long as you rinse in fresh water after you get out of the pool.

Speedo is the way to go, as far as I'm concerned, when it comes to swimwear. But even within this one brand and even within this one style—jammers—there are quite a few differences among Speedo's product offerings. Some of this has to do with fabric. This may seem odd since swimsuit fabrics are just some form or other, or a blend, of polyester. But it's not as simple as that. Speedo has Endurance+, ProLT, and PowerFlex—there are others, but these three are the most common. Of these, Endurance+ lasts the longest but it is also on the heavy side and is not so smooth. On the other hand, PowerFlex feels really, really good to wear. It's a bit lighter and is so smooth it just slides right onto your skin. It conforms to your movements so well that it feels like, pardon the trite expression, you're wearing nothing.A couple of tips. First, wash by hand and rinse thoroughly after each use. Your jammers will last longer if they're free from chlorine. Do not wring out excess water; instead, roll up in a towel and squeeze without twisting. Second, if you want that second-skin feel of PowerFlex, pick the correct size by consulting the size chart. Do not size up like most guys. Just don't. Jammers are supposed to be tight. If you are shy or squeamish about showing, ehem, contours then just stick to swim shorts. Jammers are not for you.

Il fait bien. Le tissu semble de bonne qualité. Jusqu'à maintenant tout est ok. Seul le temps pourra confirmer le tout.
