This is a great swimsuit. It is well built and is not thin material. BUT go up 2-3 sizes from what you think you need. Speedo builds their suits for true swimmers who do it everyday, and I am sure they need them to be tight. But for the average swimmer like me, they fit a little tight. I am a 33ish waist, the size 36 fits a little tight on me, not so tight where I can't wear them, but tight enough where I don't even use the drawstring. I kind of like it like that. Hope this helps!

Much prefer Lycra over the new polyester suits. Worth the effort to search out this Lycra suit. Slightly more stretch makes these suits more comfortable in the pool.

Rare find of when speedo made better stuff. Most of speedo's suits now as of 2023 aren't to my liking. They fit weird. The cut is weird. They are all using this weird recycled polyester crap that doesn't have the stretch and lightweighted-ness the lycra/nylon blend does. They are also all fully lined but I like the butt unlined, this one does that!

I like Speedo racing suits compared to my previous TYR and Nike. The material feels much more durable, and has not faded nearly as fast as my other previous suits. However, I might warn others to get one size larger, as they are pretty snug, and though I've been using it for the past few months, the material has not relaxed much. I do see that as testimony to the durabillity and the quality though, so the loss of 1/2 star is more for the size not corresponding to the size on the label. Other than that, great suit and a great buy!

I am a competitive swimmer and have always supported Speedo's product line. This suit provides excellent coverage and durability. I use it during races and practices and it serves both uses very well. A word of caution, as a swimmer I am accustomed to tighter fitting suits. I don't want my junk flying around or my suit causing drag. This speedo does very well in ensuring that I am able to compete at my best when I don't use fastskins or LZRs. Highly recommend this

Bought these for my husband to wear under his swim trunks since he is always complaining that the built-in mesh liners chafe. We cut the built-in liners out and he now wears a Speedo and all problems have been solved. Despite his hesitation, the suit fits perfectly and is true to size. The drawstring allows the fit to be customized further. A successful purchase.

I bought these for my husband to wear under board shorts that did not come with a mesh lining. They fit well. I bought him a 34 because he is not using them to swim competitivy. He could have probably worn a 32 as well if he were using them for racing.

Excellent lycra speedo. As an avid swimmer, I prefer Lycra over polyesther. The cut is more conservative than solar 1â€. The back coverage is good enough. Speedo should produce more of this material/cut.
