I have purple hair and I have been avoiding the pool because the chlorine can ruin my expensive dye job and make the colors fade faster. However, I live in a very hot sunny state and I really didn't want to miss out on using the pool at my apartment. So I bought this swim cap in hopes that it would keep my hair dry and protected from the chlorine while swimming. It's a bit tricky to get on if you're not used to using swim caps, but it's not too hard. I have a somewhat small head but it still fit quite snug (the way a swim cap should fit). I was able to dunk my head under water and my hair remained dry. I would definately recommend this swim cap for anyone who might have need of one, especially if you have hair dyed a "fashion" color (like Purple).

Speedo is quality, good price and doesn’t leak. Durable and stretches great. Not thin but not overly thick

By far the worst swim cap I have ever owned. size is too small, material too thin, and it rips after 10 uses, company will not back up product with a replacement. don't buy this item and definately don't buy from this company

I bought this as a first swim cap. I had heard on youtube videos that latex is cooler than silicone. I have not found any noticeable difference, and I swim regularly for 45-60 minutes nonstop. Latex is a thinner cap, but it feels tighter on my head, sometimes too tight. The Silicone version is thicker, softer, and stretches easier. I would recommend silicone over latex swim caps. Sizewise, I like both versions made by speedo.

Cap is very tight and will not recommend for women with long hair. It feels impossible to fit long hair in and if you do, beware to feel extreme pain as it did rip a couple of my hair out. I ended up giving the cap away to a woman with short hair. She said the same which the cap is very tight and took alot of effort to put her hair in. However, when she got the cap on, it does what it said it would do....keep the water out. So looks like a good product but not for long hairs.

I bought this cap for a return visit to the Blue Lagoon in Iceland. During my first visit to this amazing place I wore no swim cap, and the experience was glorious except for what the silica-filled water did to my thin, fine hair. Despite immediate thorough shampooing and conditioning after swimming in the lagoon, my hair felt horribly like cornstalks! After three more such treatments there was little improvement until a couple of months later when my hairdresser did many expensive conditioning treatments, and finally my hair returned to normal. As a result, I was hoping for a swim cap that would REALLY KEEP THE WATER OUT, and this one absolutely did! Thank you for such an excellent product! I HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND this swim cap to anyone who truly needs to keep the water out of their hair!!

Swim caps have come a long way since I was at school! Got this for my daughter. It arrived in good condition and with full instructions. Couldn't believe it was shipped from the USA though, hadn't realised this when I ordered it. Soft, comfortable and easy to get on.

Good cap from Speedo. It is not super tight compared to the sillicone ones.Not as durable as sillicone, but much latex over sillicone.
