Haven't used the glass cutter, but the pliers are very nice and easy to grip. We'll be great for students who have arthritis or difficulty holding tools

I’m new to stained glass work. I bought this little kit just to have equipment until I decided if I enjoyed it enough to invest in more expensive items. These are great! The only issue I have is with the cutter. Normally you can adjust the flow of cutting oil using the knob. However that doesn’t change the flow of oil with this one. It also leaks a little oil around the cutter head when you aren’t using it. So I recommend not adding much oil to it at a time, and wrap a tissue loosely around the head when you put it away to prevent the oil from getting everywhere. Otherwise it is fantastic and a great value!

Wonderful for newbies to get started. Pistol grip glass cutter didn't hold oil - not sure what I'm doing wrong, but will figure it out. Loved the grozers and running pliers. Wasn't expecting the sharp tool to "write" on glass, but it will be very useful when grouting my pieces. Nice to have extra cutters and covers for tools. Case is handy.

I love this set so far! I used it for the first time last night. The 6-12mm cutter scores the glass very nicely.But..The 2-6mm piece is missing the part that scores the glass! This piece came attached to the handle. The other 2 pieces have the scorer, but this one did not. I included pictures of these. But the running and breaking pliers work wonderfully.I also have read other reviews so I do not put oil in the cutter handle, but just use a sponge w/ oil to dip it in before cutting and it works great.

Bought these as a beginning set and pretty bummed they didn’t include the rubber tips as described. You get what you pay for I guess.

A couple of reviews mentioned that the cutter tool leaked oil. I’ve always been taught that you dip the head of the cutter in a small container of oil with a sponge inside instead of filling up the cutter chamber with oil. That will take care of any leakage problems and avoid getting oil all over the glass. Other than that, it seems like a sturdy tool kit, although slightly smaller than the tools I’ve purchased in the past.

Nice to have a set of tools I can keep & use at home, while my others can remain at the community work shop where I also do stainglass.

When adding oil to cutter it doesn't matter what you do, tighten or loosen nut, it leaks out terribly. I now just dip it in oil.

Overall this is a good product however the glass cutter leaks oil as soon as you put oil into it
