I really like the fit and finish and over look of these boots; The blue rubber with the tan leather upper section is very unique and stylish;It's got great insulation which keeps feet very warm when out in the northeast winters; Feet will get hot if you wear them inside (during work for example). Just bring a pair of shoes to use indoors.They are true to size, very supportive insoles for medium to high arches;They are quite grippy in snow and ice;They go well with casual attire and don't have a rugged snow-boot look but functional just as good!Overall great winter boot for cold/snow/rainy northeast weather.

I tried these on and they were comfortable immediately. No need to break them in.I got the ones with the leather uppers and the leather is not the highest quality but they seem well made.I will have to see how long they last.

Let's set the expectation. I don't live in a super cold climate as I live in NC. We do get days in the teens and sometimes colder. I mainly got these because I have raynauds so I battle constantly with keeping fingers and toes half way warm. This is why I bought these. They have the classic look but classy enough to wear into the office. They are comfortable right out of the box. They have plenty of room. I don't have wide feet in fact I'm more on the narrow side. The room lets me run them loose which is needed for raynaud's. I can use these with a thinner sock and thicker with no issues. They are decently warm for me but probably much warmer for a normal person. I wear these to work and work in a manufacturing facility so I walk a lot and I am on my feet. So far they have been very comfortable. I have not warn any other brands in this style so really can't compare. We did have a little bit of snow recently they seemed to have very good traction in a few inches of snow. They are not heavy but they are heavier than a tennis shoe. I'd recommend them to a friend.

Excellent quality for the price. The fit is as expected but I chose to get the shoe in a 1/2 size larger based on other reviews and my desire to use a heavier winter sock for added insulation, although this boot is insulated. We have had a wild winter here in the northeast, over the last month, and I found the heavier sock provided additional warmth in the heavy snow and the cold temperatures. Something that should be considered when buying a duck boot.I found the boot to be water tight with excellent traction in both snow and on ice. The shoe is also lined, as I mentioned, but there is very little padding on the inside sole so an insole might be in order for some for added comfort. Another potential reason to get a 1/2 size larger than your normal size.My only regret was I purchased the shoe during an Amazon promotion and a day later it went on sale on Amazon for several dollars less.

I was expecting that maybe it will be with so much weight. But it's quality and fitting and weight is beyond my imagination. I didn'feel my feet heavy wearing these boots.Material is wonderful.
