It would be kind of difficult to claim to be Sam I Am without his signature red hat... so don't try to. The hat is included in this kit.

I've used the hat, sign, and green eggs and ham on the platter 3 times now, together with a yellow tunic I sewed, white sweatpants, socks, and shoes to complete the Sam I Am costume. Every time I wear it I get lots of compliments. The hat stays on well. The lettering on the sign has rubbed off in a few places and I filled it in with a permanent marker. The elastic band on the ham is a bit large and I have to slide it pretty far up my arm to stay put, which is awkward placement. Otherwise, it's a big hit.

Purchased this for my daughters wacky Wednesday at school. The hat fits her head. I tried it on and it was really small. If you’re an adult looking to purchase it may not be a good idea.

I’m happy enough with the pieces of this costume but the hat is quite snug. My head isn’t very large and this hat is tight. Im going to have my husband try to stretch it out a bit for me. Other than that the pieces are cute. I purchased a long yellow sweatshirt to complete the ensemble. Wearing for Dr. Suess Trunk or Treat and Book Character Day at school.

I just love these Sam I am accessories. I honestly thought it would be cheap but nope it is made very well! I can’t wait to use them when we celebrate Dr Seuss’s birthday next month.
