Worked perfectly I did not even have to disassemble the parts on either side of a bearing because I could split these in half. They hold very tight as well

my motorcycle has a .5 diameter so most phone mounts do not fit. This product helped to make the diameter bigger and now the phone mount works perfectly and it is where I want it and without having to buy lots of other adapters or modify the bikes normal set up

Need to hold an 8mm rod or screw in place, get these. They clamp much better than single slit or set / grub screw only collars.

I needed a modification for a trailer hitch for the dog carrier I bought since the ones that come with the trailer were not a good fit for my bike. So I turned out a few parts on my lathe and used one of these as my attachment point. A little plastic dip on the inside to help it mold to my bike frame, and protect the paint, and it worked very well.

Of the set of four 32mm collars, each is different and one is about 33mm ID. Fortunately I only need three. The counterbores, threading, chamfered edges, and screws look okay, but these collars were probably made from aluminum rod or pipe and whoever is cutting the rings in half is doing it by hand instead of using a jig. A real shame.
