Growing up in Ohio the cardinal was the state bird and I’ve just always loved them so much. In Georgia I have so many of my feeders, and I enjoy them every time I see them so I knew I had to have a cardinal Christmas ornament. Spode was a much better price than the higher priced cardinal but the finish is very shiny which does detract from its beauty. Regardless, it’s beautiful if you’re a bird lover or know one. It’s a nice gift.

UPDATE: The seller sent a replacement well before Christmas! Highly recommend!!!This ornament came and my 2 year old was so excited! He asked for an ornament of Santa in his sleigh, so we thought this would be perfect. But the nose is broken and looks like it was glued back on. I was under the impression I was buying a new ornament in new condition. I tried to get a replacement but it won’t come until 2025 (3 weeks shipping time!).
