Purchase this Sponson kit to replace the deteriorating ones on my Radisson 14ft Canoe. I was gifted this canoe and once i had researched it I was very excited to learn I could still get parts. Having these sponson replacements gives the canoe a fresh look and more importantly they add the flotation back that the canoe once had when new. I also went to the Kenco Outfitters and order 2 of the plastic canoe end caps that were broken as they have everything needed to do the repairs to my canoe. Surprisingly there are a lot of the original parts still available for this canoe and I would highly recommend this one.

I was reluctant to drill holes on each side. Industrial Velcro looked like a possibility so I did a 2†x 9’ down each side of the canoe but that left unacceptable gaps on the top and bottom. Then I added the stainless bolts on each side to squeeze it in and reduce the gaps. Lastly I went ahead and added permanent gorilla duct tape around the entire perimeter to seal up all of the cracks. Heavy duty all weather velcro, stainless bolts nuts and washers, and permanent duct tape will be put to the test in southern Missouri pedaling Eleven Point, Jacks Fork, and Current rivers

The Radisson sponson kit is of outstanding quality. I bought the Sportspal version for my Sportspal canoe a couple of years ago and the Radison version is far superior.
