This pin spot was a huge upgrade over my old incandescent one.Others would throw off too much heat and the replacement bulbs were pricey. This new one uses way less electricity than the old style and doesn’t bring with it the almost scary amount of heat. This one stays pretty cool temperature wise. It’s also more compact. The spot light itself has crisp edges creating a much clearer circle than was used to, and it makes it so much easier to keep all of the lights focused on the disco ball.I’m very pleased with it!

For the price, these are some decent lights. If you need a projection light onto a disco ball, or if you just want to project white light onto a very specific area, like movie searchlights on a smaller scale.I would recommend installing a rocker switch along the power cable, but other than that they work as described.

Fulfilling a dream I've had since I was young, I put an 18" disco ball in my bedroom. These lights install easy, I have one pointed up, mounted on a piece of furniture, and the other mounted into the ceiling pointed from near the center of the room so the disco ball reflects it back out widely. A simple mounting bracket and screw support it on anything. It's not weighty enough to require an anchor even straight into drywall. The light is surprisingly bright, like I could read from it. This probably matters a lot more in a 3000 sq ft club than my 150 sq ft bedroom. It's def enough to get the light on that ball, I tell you what. These get warm, but not too hot. The ads brag about heat dissipation. Just don't pile blankets on it and it's fine.

My disco ball danced and twinkled under these lights. Easy to use but I have one thing that worth noting. We didn't want to nail or screw the light into any fixtures in the home. But there was only one leg (That's what I call it) to hang them item. There should be two legs for those that just want to prop it up on the floor or counter. We hand to use duct tape to keep it upright in the floor.Just a suggestion.

Exactly what I needed for my disco.Ball. Makes excellent reflections in the mirrors. They're pretty much silent and very bright . You can use these as a spotlight also.

The lights beam is nice but no mounting hardware was provided with my order. I even tried replacing them and the second order also came in with no mounting hardware.

Husband picked this up to add to the nightclub where he works. They already had a rotating disco ball in place, but needed it to add more lights to have a brighter throw. These lights worked perfectly. They attached to the grid and were easy to focus. He attached them to the triggered power source and they turned on and off with the other lights. Easy to install. Quite a bright throw and small in size, light in weight. These are great lights to add to your disco ball lighting system.
