I wanted these to help finish closing the cover on my scooter, to protect it in our high winds, so I ordered them, and they got lost. I then bought this set, and I am happy I did. Having carabiners rather than hooks is great- it makes them much easier to use than with the hooks, which are constantly hooking the wrong thing, at least for my purposes. They seem to hold quite well- definitely do their job. Good value.

10-18-24 A couple days ago, I received the four, 32-inch Bungee Cords by sprookber. I got the yellow ones - to make them somewhat easier to see. I like them, as they seem to be strong. I like the stainless steel carabiners - which have a rather strong spring. This makes it somewhat more difficult to hook them onto things. But, the positive of a strong spring is that it closes securely and probably reduces the chances of it coming undone under heavy loads, or when not strapping them tightly. My only dislike is the black material - I think it could be wire shrink, that covers the bungee cord staple at each end. When you pull on the bungee cord, it becomes lightly thinner, which makes the black shrink wrap slightly looser under that tension, and once it moves and reveals the metal staple, it is almost impossible to move it back over the staple. I may have to wrap some electrical tape over those staples. I just came back from the garage, where I tried to shrink the black material with a heat gun. But it didn't shrink much, and I don't know if it's because it isn't actually heat shrink, or if the shrink failed because, unless you're pulling on the bungee cord, it is already rather shrunk. Make sense? I'll be using these both on my bicycle loads, and on heavier tasks for items in my little trailer I haul with a truck a couple times a year. I do know 1 thing. With ordinary bungee cords, if they are left outside in the sun or weather, they will lose their elasticity after a couple years or so, and once they reach that point, it's best to throw them away. Otherwise, you risk a bungee cord breaking while stretching it, and when that happens, you don't want to get hit by the fragments, which can have quit a bit of force!

Other bungee cords I've bought have very flimsy carabiners that quickly break. These have much, much strong ones. The cords themselves seem strong enough, but I wish they also offered thicker cords. I gave the product 5 stars anyway for their vastly superior carabiners.

A. Nice stainless hooks. 8 stainless hooks for $12 isn't bad. 5 stars for that.B. All 4 bungees are not all 12' when measured with the hook per their pictures. Some longer. Some shorter. Longest is almost 14". Shortest is 12". Two are 13". Keep that in mind when ordering the short ones.C. The hook goes through a loop that is "secured" with a section of heat shrink tubing. IMHO, this is not the most secure method when used with an elastic cord.

Being a year-round camper and avid hiker, I immediately saw numerous uses for these bungee cords. I especially like the bindings connecting the carabiners, which eliminate the risk of the ends coming loose or fraying. Most other products of this type use less expensive materials, leading to early failure and simply discarding the product. Quality stainless steel carabiners, for example, are better than less expensive aluminum or metal with springs that wear out and stop working altogether. The inner core is designed with multiple strands surrounded by a tensile strength wrapping and finally the outer tightly braided cover. These are truly heavy-duty and made to last through all weather conditions. I opted for a 24" length that allows for flexibility of uses.

This bungee cords works great. I used it to tied my truck to go to Florida and it holds the items on my truck very good. Nothing falling out and is very sturdy. It is worthy the price and really tied up strong and sturdy.

Ordered this set of 32 Inch Bungee Cords with stainless steel carabiners. Came in a ziplock with 4 cords and 8 carabiners. Cords were true to size and look pretty decent quality have really good stretch to them.2 inch steel carabiners feel heavy duty professional grade with nice spring-load as you would expect .They should work well for purpose of outdoor use like camping , Tarps, Bike Racks as claimed and not for rock climbing :-).Other then that , its such a multi-purpose product with a wide range of application both indoors and outdoors. Like I used in my gym for tethering weights to upright to prevent swinging and even hung a bird feeder to a tree. Now about life of cords esp outdoors in harsh weather (heat , cold , rain and sun) cant say right now test of time will tell but overall these are some good quality strong Bungee Cords at a reasonable price , dont see any reason not to buy them.
