A little pricy, but it was an exact replacement for the thermostat in my electric heater. It took me five minutes to install it and it works perfectly.I was pleased for the free two-day delivery.

My electric space heater is over 20 yrs old and have never had any problems with it until a few weeks ago, we had not been in the garage for about 2 or 3 days, when I finally went into the garage is was like opening a stove door the heat was unreal, the temp in the garage was over 85 degrees, I knew right off the thermostat had went bad and the heater had been running for 3 days non stop. I was afraid I was not going to be able to find a replacement thermostat for my heater since it was 20 yrs old. ordered this one from Amazon, received it in 2 days, took 10 min to install and is working perfect again. I would buy again !

We have an old garage heater. Not sure of the brand or model, but it *looks* like a Fahrenheat. Last week, it started running continuously, making the garage warmer than our house. I figured it might be a bad thermostat, so I took a chance and instead of calling an electrician, ordered this replacement. Turns out that it was exactly the same part. I removed the old one and installed this one in its place. Three screws, and the push/pull connectors were all I needed to mess with. Tools required: Phillips screwdriver, 1/4" nut driver, and needlenose pliers. Took me 10 minutes. Now the heater works just like new!ADDENDUM: This part stopped working 14 months later, during which the heater was operating for only 5 months.

Old thermostat went bad. Heater is in back garage and when going in discovered that garage was now a surprise sauna due to heater running non-stop. Found this one online and ordered it thru Amazon. Received it within a few days and installed it next day. Tested it out, and so far works like a charm.
