This ceramic cat food bowl from S&Q's Ceramics is a definite upgrade over the traditional food bowls we've been using. We also own a double tilted-bowl set that sits in a plastic base, and our cats do appear to eat from that in a more comfortable position, but this tilted bowl sits a bit higher and helps prevent our larger adult cat from having to crane down to eat.The production quality is top notch and the colors are vibrant (we chose the orange bowl, which has a cream base). Adorning the base are paw prints and dog bones (perhaps a bit unusual for a cat bowl, but they don't seem to mind). The inside of the bowl features a flower-like design with raised dividers that help compartmentalize the food, which I think may prevent our cats from having to "chase" loose kibbles around the bowl.I would not consider this a large bowl, but it would easily hold enough food for the four cats that are currently living with us. It is wide enough to help avoid "whisker fatigue", especially for smaller/younger cats, which is something that I had just recently learned about and was the primary motivator for me to select this bowl to review. Another positive is that it's dishwasher safe and would easily fit in a dishwasher.There are cheaper bowls, for sure, but for an attractive, durable ceramic bowl that has nice design features, is easy to maintain and may help your cat eat with less postural stress, this could be seen as a wise investment.

This simply a lovely ceramic dish and it is well made without any flaws in the glaze. It came packaged very well. It might break if you ran over the box with your car, but doubt it would break if you dropped the box. My new cat likes the dish for dry kibble. I haven't tried it for wet food yet as the cat is new to me and is a very picky eater. So far I've tried giving her the same moist food the shelter said they fed their cats and she won't touch it. If I hit on a brand of moist food this cat likes, I give the feeder a go. The size holds plenty of dry kibble for a cat. I doubt it would hold enough for a large dog unless you fed it a couple times a day.

As every cat owner knows, you never know when you get them something new if they'll like it or hate it.My cats already have a whisker-friendly bowl, only one of them prefers that to the fountain. This bowl is a different style from the one we have so I figured why not, let's try it. My seniors all have varying stages of deteriorating kidney health, as so many aging domestic cats do, so I'm all about doing anything I can to get them to drink more water.To my surprise, they took to it right away (after a few minutes of cautiously checking it out, of course). Even the stubborn old guy who has a burning hatred for anything new liked it right off the bat.The bowl itself is heavy which means it won't be tipping over. It's taller than our other one and not on as extreme an angle, they seem to like that aspect. It's almost like a bird bath, you know? We got the yellow and blue one, colors are spot on to the product photo.Overall we're all very pleased with this bowl.

We are really happy with this cat food bowl! Our kitty seems pretty happy with it too! So This was actually bigger than I was expecting which is nice, and makes sense because it is wider than some bowls which is what keeps the whiskers from touching the side or getting bent. The color is really nice too. I got the brown and green one and it is just lovely! There is a really nice smooth glaze on the bowl so it is really easy to clean; there are no crevices or other areas that food will get stuck. The bowl is well made and level, so it is very stable on carpet or on hard surface.Overall this is a great cat bowl and all members of the family like it!

Very sturdy cat bowl made from ceramic. It is slightly tilted and a nice size. The only thing I don’t care for is the word “lovely†on the side, but that’s a minor thing. Nice bright colors.

I did the orange ans tan looking one. This bowl is cute and so colorful and fun. It smooth and nicely made and good amount of space for the kitty to eat. Easy to clean and holds up nicely.

This pet bowl is absolutely beautiful and I love it. It is a lot bigger than you would think. Packaged very very well. Held up well in the dishwasher. Only caveat, the bottom hole is not plugged, so it will catch and hold water during a dishwasher cycle. It's the perfect height for my Shih Tzu. I will eventually get another one for the kitty. I would recommend.
