Got this for my 5 soon to be 6 yr old in the size 8, and it fits her perfectly! So they do run small. The material is not too thick or thin and is so soft! She loves the little fox hood and the pockets, so she can put her "getting ready" things in to make it easier. The style of the robe is very cute, colors are vibrant and if your little one loves squishmallows they will definitely love this robe!

My granddaughter is obsessed with all things Squishmallow and loved this robe. The colors are true to the picture, the print even more pretty in person. It is a lighter weight robe. If you’re looking for a heavy, snuggly winter robe this is not it.

This review is for the Komar Kids Squishmallows Hooded Kids Robe (Color - Blue, Size - 12). I received a free taxable sample of this robe to review in my search for a soft and cute bathrobe that my pre-teen could wear.The robe is constructed from a soft 100% polyester fleece material and weighs 340 grams with an approximate shoulder-to-shoulder width of 15", a chest width of 19 ½â€, and a bottom hem of 21 ½â€. There is a good length of 33†from the top of the shoulder to the bottom hem and the sleeves are nicely sized at 20†long (30†from between the shoulders plus sleeve) with sleeve openings of 5 ¾†across. The open front style of the robe measures 19 ½†across the hips without overlapping and can be secured by two lengths of 26†long fabric which have been sewn onto the center of the back.My pre-teen really likes the super soft feel and comfortable fit of this robe and has been using it daily as a bathrobe. We haven’t gotten much usage out of the hood portion, but she likes that the hood has sewn on ears and a cute face printed on top of the hood that complements the cute pattern of Squishmallows in various cold weather gear including scarves and pom-pom hats. I like the overall quality and workmanship of the robe with good clean stitching that is doubly reinforced around all of the outside edges. Care and maintenance have been easy and straightforward as this robe can be machined washed inside out on cold and then tumbled dry on low.All in all, this is a very soft and fleecy robe with a cute pattern and hood. My pre-teen and I recommend this as a good bathrobe option, especially if you’re a Squishmallows fan.
