Only problem is tool sometimes rips through back and ruins one. Prepare to lose 10-15% to that phenomenon…otherswise they are now in every doorframe of my project and have worked well to quiet door slams.

Repainted door fraims at a church, and wanted to replace the door silencers with fresh ones. This is perfect as it comes with a special tool that makes popping the silencers in a breeze. Without the tools, inserting the silencers is a headache and I always tore them up.

We work installing commercial building doors, use these all the time. They upgraded the tool with a thicker wire awhile back. Soap helps with the installation. We used to pop holes with the thinner wire, but now this rarely happens. If the hole is clogged with paint and debris, it also helps to use a drill with a drill bit to rimmed out.

You have to work very hard to insert these. Need to be a tad bit smaller.

Replaced 20 year old door bumpers. Was quick and easy and now it does not sound like people are slamming their doors when closing them!

Specifically went with this item for the tool instead of the cheaper alternative, but didn’t receive it. Will return to order the cheaper ones.

Good quality and nice that it includes the tool. My package only had 95 pieces plus one defective piece instead of the 100 promised. Not a big deal I suppose, but annoying because we have about 25 doors with 4 needed for each so now I have to reorder or do without. Just an unnecessary headache. I'm still giving 4 stars though because of the quality of the product.
