I am no pencil aficionado, but I do enjoy sketching, drawing and doodling bits of art and this set works very well for my needs. The different "leads" are helpful for different parts of the drawings where different darknesses or softness is needed. They are enjoyable and useful pencils. The eraser works well, and the sharpener is heavy weight and high quality. These are good for kids, new drawers, casual artists and also professional artists.

This set of pencils are very high quality for the price, and I love using them for many different facets of artistic expression.
