Great quality and presharpened is helpful. Purchased to share in the music department 'cup' as all students need a pencil to make comments on their current music - many seem to forget theirs!! Helpful and handy to have them easily available.

I switched to these after using Ticonderoga pencils for over 9 years. Ticonderoga is garbage now, so I needed something different.These have been awesome so far. They are not breaking constantly and sharpen well. I didn't want erasers.on my pencils (the kids don't want to use the pencil after the eraser is gone, so I have pink erasers on the supply shelf they can use) and I was able to use pliers to pop the metal part right off.They are awesome for the price and highly recommend for the classroom.

Had always bought black Ticonderogas but the last batch we bought the lead was not centered and it was so annoying never being able to fully sharpen the pencils because one side of the wood stuck out past the lead, so I tried this large bunch and we are happy with them so far! Not as pretty as the black pencils, but I choose function over form. :)

These pencils are infinitely better than Ticonderoga and other similar brands. They sharpen perfectly. The lead doesn’t break or chip. The lead isn’t loose within the wood casing. This pencil is similar to the quality Faber-Castell #2 pencils that I remember using as a kid. I just love them and will happily pay a little extra to avoid the headaches that come from the cheap, mass-produced pencils that saturate the market today.

PENCILS WERE NOT MADE IN GERMANY, BUT IN THAILAND. OTHERWISE THEY SEEM O.K. THE ERASERS ARE MUCH BETTER THAN WHAT USUALY COME ON PENCILS OF THIS SORT.

These pencils are fantastic quality and very affordable! They come pre sharpened and do a much better job than the standard #2 pencil. They write very smoothly and last. I buy boxes of these every school year and will continue to do so.
