We all Love the sparkling taste of the 1941 Classic Moscow Mule drink but do you know the real story behind the making of Classic Moscow Mule drink
- It travels back to the summers of 1941, when the first carload of Jack Morgan's CocknBull ginger beeer was railing over the plains to give New Yorkers' a happy surprise
- 3 friends were in the Chatham bar, John A. Morgan, president of CocknBull Products; John G. Martin, president of G.F. Heublein Brothers Inc. of Hartford, Conn, and the third was Rudolph Kunett, president of the Pierre Smiroff, Heublein's vokda division
- Martin & Kunett had their minds on their vokda & wondered what would happen if a 2 ounce shot joined with Morgan's ginger beer & the squeeze of a lemon.
- Ice was ordered, lemons procured, mugs ushered in & the concoction put together. Cups were raised, the men counted five and down went the first taste. It was good. It lifted the spirit to adventure. Four or five days later the mixture was christened the Moscow mule

- Pour 37 1/2 ml of Vdoka
- Add 5-6 cubes of Ice in the Copper Mug
- Now add 25 ml Fresh Lime Juice to it
- Top the mixture with Ginger Beeer & stir
- Garnish with Mint Sprig & Lime

HOW TO CLEAN COPPER MUGS
It is now very easy to clean your Staglife Copper mugs at the comfort of your home
- Take 2 tablespoon of Salt
- 1 Lemon – cut into 2 pieces
- Now, dip the half-cut lemon into salt and apply gently on the inside of the Copper mug for 2 minutes
- Rinse the mugs with tap water
- Dry thoroughly with soft cotton cloth
NOTE:
- Do not scrub on the outside as it may damage the product
- No to dishwasher
- No to microwave

I looked at all of the offerings available, and when I saw these, I stopped looking. OK, well I ordered them knowing if they were not well made, I could send them back,,,, so I ordered a dozen, 2 mugs per box, 6 boxes. I got the 20 ounce size because that is the perfect size to make and enjoy a Moscow Mule. Plenty of room for ice and drink. The construction was what I was looking for. Beefy. SOLID. ROBUST. And the finish of the mug was very nice, beautiful. Solid handles.. 5 Stars for sure. I do not know the science behind copper mugs, but I truly never experienced a colder drink with ice...

I haven’t used these yet, but I received today and very happy with the quality. These are more for display in our house but hopefully used once in a while. I like the darker brown instead of the traditional copper color.

We love our cups! Very pretty and they came with instructions on how to keep the copper from discoloring, but I actually like the patina discoloration to give charm!

Yeah, because they're actually copper, or some other metal (like brass or bronze which are copper alloys) that also get a greenish patina on them when not cared for appropriately. They're lightweight but seem sturdy and I have enjoyed using them. Glad I added them to my collection!

I have two sets. I have gifted these as well. Everyone loves them. Great quality and looks perfect. Washes and cleans just fine. I have used mine for six months and they still look as new.

Delivery was quick and the packaging was very well done. We are already using these mugs for daily cold beverages. Love the feel and design of the mugs and they hold the cold temperature. Pure copper makes a difference. Would recommend.

I bought a 2 pack and gave one to my dad for his birthday and I kept the other. My dad seemed to really like it.I love this cup! It looks so nice. I put tap water in it and let it sit for a bit before drinking it. The water stays so cold in it. I once put in room temp water and after an hour it was colder....I dunno how that happened, but it was cool!I totally recommend, it makes for a great gift. And follow the instructions the company gives you so you don't ruin the cup.

Ob es reiner Kupfer ist, kann ich nicht beurteilen, da muß ich mich auf die Aussage des Verkäufers verlassen, allerdings sind die Becher wunderschön, vor allem für diesen Preis. Es waren gute Pflegetipps in der ebenfalls nicht nur edlen, sondern zugleich auch praktischen und liebevollen Verpackung, und es waren noch hübsche Untersetzer als Geschenk darin, zusätzlich zu einem liebevollen Text des Verkäufers. Diese 2 Becher sind ein wunderschönes Geschenk für die Lieben wie auch für einen selbst, zumal das Trinken aus Kupferbechern der Gesundheit sehr zuträglich ist, wie sich mehr und mehr, auch wissenschaftlich, herausstellt. Ich werde bestimmt noch mehr davon erwerben.
