1941 CLASSIC MOSCOW MULE DRINK, THE UNTOLD STORY...
We all Love the sparkling taste of the 1941 Classic Moscow Mule drink but do you know the real story behind the making of Classic Moscow Mule drink
- It travels back to the summers of 1941, when the first carload of Jack Morgan's CocknBull ginger beer was railing over the plains to give New Yorkers' a happy surprise
- 3 friends were in the Chatham bar, John A. Morgan, president of CocknBull Products; John G. Martin, president of G.F. Heublein Brothers Inc. of Hartford, Conn, and the third was Rudolph Kunett, president of the Pierre Smirnoff, Heublein's vodka division
- Martin & Kunett had their minds on their vodka & wondered what would happen if a 2 ounce shot joined with Morgan's ginger beer & the squeeze of a lemon.
- Ice was ordered, lemons procured, mugs ushered in & the concoction put together. Cups were raised, the men counted five and down went the first taste. It was good. It lifted the spirit to adventure. Four or five days later the mixture was christened the Moscow mule
Great for serving- chilled beer, Vodka, Gin, Rum, Tequila, Russian julep, whiskey, mixed drinks, Cocktails and Mock tails.
MOSCOW MULE MANLY MUGS FOR THE MAN
Many people try to use Stainless Steel Mugs for Moscow Mule and find the taste of steel metal very disgusting.

COLDER, FOR LONGER
- Copper metal is well known from ages for it’s ability to keep cold beverages colder, for longer.
- When compared to drinks served in Stainless Steel mugs, Cocktails served in Copper Mugs remain colder for longer so that you can enjoy the taste of your favorite Moscow Mule cocktail until the last drop
- Also, after a while, drinks served in Stainless Steel Mugs, lack the taste due to warm temperature of Stainless steel mugs.
CLASSIC MOSCOW MULE RECIPE
- Pour 37 1/2 ml of Vodka
- Add 5-6 cubes of Ice in the Copper Mug
- Now add 25 ml Fresh Lime Juice to it
- Top the mixture with Ginger Beer & stir
- Garnish with Mint Sprig & Lime

How to clean Moscow Mule Copper Mugs at home
- Take 2 tablespoon of Salt
- 1 Lemon – cut into 2 pieces
- Now, dip the half-cut lemon into salt and apply gently on the inside of the Copper mug for 2 minutes
- Rinse the mugs with tap water
- Dry thoroughly with soft cotton cloth
NOTE
- Do not scrub on the outside as it may damage the product
- No to dishwasher
- No to microwave

The packaging was crushed severely but there were enough packing materials that the product was not damaged and I did not purchase for a shipping box. There were such minor dents in the base but I was okay because it’s pure copper and it is a soft metal that's why I did not purchase one with a stainless steel insert. There was some black polish on the inside of the cups but came out with a bit of cleaning with a mild dish brush. I would recommend keeping in mind that this is a handmade piece and some blemishes are part of the charm and uniqueness. overall I'm very happy and have ordered a second set.

I got these for my husband for our 7 year wedding anniversary! They fit with the traditional 7 year gift (copper) but also add a nice little flair! My husband is very happy with them his drinks stay cold the whole time. Perfect for sitting on a patio

Beautiful cups! But the claim is 100% copper, but I tested the inside of these cups and both tested positive for lead. See picture. Obviously, these cups are worthless when there is lead on them.

Had a little trouble with one of the sets I originally ordered, but the seller reached out and made it right. This is where good folks shine on amazon, when there is an issue. Nothing in life if perfect but at least these folks correct any issues and offer good support.Wouldn't hesitate to purchase again.

I ordered 4, 2 per package. Both packages looked worn and damaged. One was open the other sealed with tape.I'm very disappointed in the craftsmanship, or lack thereof. You can see in the picture, one has what looks like black machine scratches on the inside copper, and in the other picture (front right) you can see what looks like machine scratches on the inside copper bottom.They look like I purchased them at a garage sale.Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.
