This is a nice set of textured glass sheets (all but one sheet have a texture and are clear, but there is one opal glass non-textured sheet). The glass sheets have both a range of texture patterns and also a range of glass types- some are perfectly clear and one single color, while others are a mix of colors and include bubbles. I like having a diverse set like this because I like to have a range of different types of glass in any stained glass project. 7/12 of these panes are blues or greens with water-like textures so I will probably do some sort of underwater scene with this set of glass. Especially with several yellows to be made into fish….The sheets were well packed with styrofoam dividers so that nothing broke during shipping. The glass is also very clean- (that seems like a funny thing to mention but I have sometimes gotten glass from other companies that was like kind of powdery? not glass powder more like plaster that needs to be scrubbed off) but this glass had no issues and is ready to use right out of the box.

I have been learning how to make mosaic items. We made picture frames with these pieces and to colors are beautiful and god quality!

This glass is absolutely gorgeous. Each piece has a different texture to it and is a nice size and thickness. The colors are nice and vibrant. I would have given this glass assortment 5 stars, but 2 of the panels were scratched. The cobalt blue (which is such a beautiful blue) seems like something had been rubbing on the surface. I tried to polish the scratches away, but they are still there...the same for the red piece.

While this might not be the highest quality glass, the colors are bold and you can see through the sheets, so they are perfect for small sun catchers. The glass is slightly thicker than Yugi or Bullseye cathedral, but it holds up well and scores easily. The rainbow of colors in the set is nice, and I especially like the blues. The red would make for a great cardinal suncatcher. If you are just getting into the craft, getting a few of these sets is a way to get some practice glass without breaking the bank. You will be able to learn to score good lines and curves without having to practice on your hundred dollar sheet of material.
