These are used frequently. Had no idea I would appreciate these until I started using them. 85% of the time I use the blunt end tweezer but have used all the others too.

The tweezers are made of steel, well made and the tips align. The tweezers make a wonderful addition to my gardening tools, make working with cactus a breeze. I have found many more uses for the tweezers beyond gardening. The case is a huge bonus for storage. I highly recommend.

When dealing with succulents sometimes it is hard to pick them up correctly. I love that this set comes with all these tweezer type items for pickup. The little clippers are also great and have not rusted even through washing. There is so many little things that makes this the perfect set.

People who grow succulents often spend a lot of effort with propagation - which is tiny little bits of the plant that can grow a new plant. It's important to handle succulent props very carefully - if you rub off the white bloom it doesn't grow back. These tweezers really help in handling the small props carefully and arranging the props in patterns while they are propagating. These aren't the highest quality instruments I've used, but I like the various sizes and the convenient zip case that keeps them handy in the plant room.

It's not that *some* of the included tweezers won't eventually get the hair out, but many are misaligned so the tips don't meet, making it difficult to tweeze (also, some are sharp enough to hurt you if mishandled; not something I'm deducting stars for as that's a user issue). Spend a little extra for a quality brand--I've been using the same old pair of tweezers for years and they work great.

If you have orchids or bonsai, I highly recommend this set of plant tweezers. They will make your plant care so much more convenient. If I could award bonus stars, I would.I have many orchids and these tweezers are one of the best things I've ever got for maintaining my plants. I'm so pleased at the quality of these! I have other tweezers that I use when repotting, to remove old media, and to help with removing dry sheaths. Some orchids just need a bit of help freeing up flowers or roots that are stuck inside their sheaths. I've never has anything nearly as precise as these are. They are able to grasp the tiniest little things with no trouble. They are designed for precision. There is a black coating where your fingers grip but the tips are uncoated steal. The little metal pick is a nice addition. I use a bamboo skewer to arrange potting media, but that's impossible to sterilize between plants, so I end up tossing them away. This metal pick is about half the size of a chopstick but it's easy to hold and easy to sterilize between plants. I really wasn't expecting to like it as much as I do.Each tweezer has a little silicone(?) protector. The tips are a bit sharp, so I'll try to not lose them. The case that they come in is also nice. Everything fits securely.

I love this kit! This dedicated gardening tweezer and root hook set is such a game changer for me. I’ve been winging the care of my plants and didn’t even know tools like these existed. I can think of many instances where these would have been ideal, such as removing dead leaves in tiny spaces and cleaning dirt off leaves without blowing or rinsing. Having a set just for my plants is awesome. All of the tools are well-made, and three of the tweezers have VERY sharp ends for precise root work and detailed cleaning. There is also a pair of blunt-ended tweezers that are good for general handling, repositioning plants, and handling delicate leaves without worrying about accidentally poking them.I clean my tools after each use with isopropyl alcohol and a clean lint-free cloth, then allow them to air dry completely. The storage case is really well-made and is perfect for keeping everything together and clean. I love this kit, and if I ever lost it, I would replace it in a heartbeat. Now, I feel like I can gift my succulents for special occasions and include this kit for a complete package. The kit doesn't contain any instructions on how to use or clean, that's why I might have over explained my review, but hopefully it was helpful! :)

The case is vinyl on the outside. The inside is suede lined. Stitching is even everywhere. The zipper works well. I would like it better if it laid flat. The tweezers vary in length from 5 1/2" to 4 3/4". Quality is mixed. Most have very fine points. One pair does not align. I cannot get them to align. The points are very sharp. I will probably keep the plastic protective sleeves to protect my hands. The flat blade pair is aligned well. It has some spring in the grip. All of them do. This will be fine for most things, but I think when a strong grip in needed a more rigid set would work better. Also, 3 of the 4 have needle tips. A greater variety would be welcome. These are long enough to be useful. These are not precision tools, so will be fine for what they are designed for.
