Works great for a custom brake and hose setup on my S10. Threads are nice and tight. Haven't ran fluid through it yet as I'm waiting to get my front brake together first.

DOT3 brake fluid is hydroscopic so it absorbs moisture at needs to be changed regularly to remove the water from the system. DOT5 is hydrophobic so it leaves the water trapped against the metal parts of a brake hydraulic system. Also needs to be changed regularly for the same reason. That is why stainless components are so great for brake hydraulic system. I used all stainless tubing and fitting. This worked great and the mounting tab is very convenient! -3 or 3/16" tubing is perfect for disc systems. If you have rear drums on an older car, you might want to get 1/4".

I needed a t-fitting for my brake system on my buggy project. This particular an3 fitting seemed like a good option and now that I've installed it I can confirm it works very well for this application.It's a nice quality part that is well-machined. No burrs and my fittings tightened down and sealed as you would expect. As a bonus, it comes with a nice quality bolt for mounting.Overall I'm quite pleased with this little fitting and I would certainly purchase it again for future projects.

This An3 t fitting is well made with clean machine work where the hardliners will connect which pretty much ensures a leak proof connection. Going to be very useful for my go-kart's dual rear brakes!
