Whatever size of this ball-chain you choose, you will be very pleased with the quality and quantity of the chain and the 100 connectors that are included. I did design a way to keep this huge amount of chain stored WITHOUT the tangling that occurs when trying to dispense off of the roll shipped on the cardboard spool. I used an empty Ibuprofen bottle with two holes drilled in the top as shown in the picture. I spooled the chain into the bottle and ran the end of the chain up through one hole for a very easy way to dispense, and the other hole is to re-insert the free end of the chain back into the bottle 4-6 inches to keep the free end from dropping back down into the chain supply. When you need the chain, pull out the loose end and pull out the length you need. After-which, feed the loose end back into the bottle several inches to store the remaining chain supply so you do not "lose" the free end. Also placing the small bag of connectors inside will keep everything together. With this storage method, you will have your chain at the ready, WITHOUT any tangling.... As a suggestion, when figuring out the length you may need for a neck chain, with such a huge supply of chain, it is better to cut the length you need AFTER adding a couple of inches of length as you may find that "I wish I cut it a bit longer" will/may be the result if cut it too short. Shortening a cut length is easy, "stretching" it longer, not so much :-)

I laser-engrave custom-designed keychains, and this ball-bead chain makes a versatile attachment option for them. Easily cut to length with wire cutters or heavy scissors, it's strong and flexible enough for even very short, one-key chains. The 100 tiny clasps that come to connect the ends can be frustrating to handle if you have big fingers or arthritis, but I found that if I laid the clasps down on a hard, flat surface they automatically roll over with the opening pointed up, which makes attaching them to the chain end much easier.

Great value for the money. I purchased wrong size so reordered with a larger size but will find a use for this. I need to replace and make longer the pull chains on my ceiling light/fans, they are too short for me to reach safely. I wish it had not been metric for measurements, too hard to figure out correct size.

great for my dog tag chain that loses its luster after 3 years, yes i keep my chain that long. But with this, i can change every 4-5 months now...

I wanted a small chain for some pendants that I was making and the Silver Stainless Steel Curb Chain was just what I was looking for. It came on a flat spool, with shrink wrap around it so the chain wasn't tangled and stayed in place during shipping.I liked that it came on a flat spool, because it made it easy to measure out the length I needed without tipping over and falling on the floor. I also liked the color.It also came with matching lobster claws and jump rings.The chain is tough. I usually cut chain with wire cutters but I had a really hard time cutting it. I did discover that I could get a hold of each side of the little link and twist it so it came apart at the joint and then I could separate the chain.I would buy this chain again.

I used a lot of this to make charm bracelets. It was the perfect size and sturdy. All these things tarnish easily. Especially if you touch them alot. The oils in our fingers tend to do that to all jewelry.

After carefully measuring & cutting two spools for shower curtains they were each only 54 feet long. I have to order more to complete the project. (yes I have a ridiculous number of showers requiring curtain hangers)
