I'm preparing for a sailing trip and trying to make some meat lines for the first time. I should have better educated myself prior to the purchase, since I actually purchased the wrong size. My bad. I wish they would post the chart here and the line size. These are for 400-450lb test mono. These thimbles are okay. They do the job, but are not really necessary. I have caught just as many fish with them, as I have without them. They are a little hard to bend, and can actually cut the mono if used wrong.
