Excellent value, large capacity, versatile, functional, has nice small colander holes so that I can drain smaller pasta much easier. I love this set! It's what I've been needing for years. The price was excellent. The quality is really good. And it's a lightweight stainless steel which is nice for my arthritic hands.

The size is great it nice quality and easy to clean. Best part is fits into one of my pots. Drop pasta in when it’s done just lift out to drain.

I bought this to use as a rice washing colander, and have used it for that and as a traditional colander. As a regular colander, it works very well and drains quickly. As a rice washer, the holes are a bit too large, and this leads to rice grains getting stuck and/or broken. The bowl is a good size and is lightweight.It is dishwasher safe, light, and stores stacked nicely. I believe it was worth the price I paid.

Purchased to rinse fruit/veggies after buying at the grocery store. It works great with the strainer-makes it easy to handle without getting water all over the place. Quality product, not a flimsy cheap bowl

I have a few colanders but I didn't have a 3 quart one and I didn't have a metal one with so many small holes in such a complete pattern. This has become my most used colander. I don't have to worry about spaghetti slipping through the holes or water remaining in the bottom. The 3 quart size is plenty big for cooking for 2 or more people and it fits inside my saucier (like a sauce pan but with rounded bottom corners for whisking) to keep my pasta warm and moist while I am finishing other parts of the meal. I put a little water in the bottom of the pan, set the colander in it, and put the lid on top.I have used the matching bowl at times when I needed to drain away from the sink. The only reservation I might have is that the handles might bend if you tried to hold it one handed, but just don't do that. The flat profile they have might allow for using this as a steamer inside a pan with a slightly larger diameter but I haven't tried that.This might have seemed like a slightly frivolous purchase since I already have other colanders but this is the one I would keep if I downsized to one.

I wanted to love this colander but it does have some issues. A lot of rice gets through the holes and the bottom side of the colander isn’t as smooth as I’d like… when washing with a sponge it tends to cut up the sponge a bit.

I have been using these strainers for a while. Love how they stack inside each other, less cupboard space. They have “feet†on the bottom, very level and sturdy. I put in dishwasher, top shelf. Very happy with this purchase.

I ordered the 5QT (4.7L) size option and received a set which is barely 2 litres in capacity. Received the same size set when I tried to exchange it. So I ended up returning it. It looks as per the images but the size is much smaller. The machining is good but the thickness is not that impressive.
