My newborn granddaughter absolutely loves her "taco". The way the baby lays in cradle puts slight pressure on the shoulders and hip area giving the baby the illusion of being held. I do wish there was more fabric options available, but its fine, I ended up with a Hello Kitty one since it was the least expensive and girl related. Additionally, there is a swinging mechanism that you can also put on it. Another great feature is that it has a piece of mesh fabric attached with a zipper that can be used while you are outside to keep bugs away and also comes in handy with older siblings throwing things and accidentally hitting the cradle.
