This fits my 6qt professional lift bowl KP26M1X perfectly. It's really sturdy, smooth stainless with a mirror finish. I will say, at first it seemed too big and hit the bottom of the bowl, even after adjusting to the lowest setting. I actually started a return on it, but decided to try one last time to try and make it fit. I moved my set screw all the way in both directions a few times, and somehow that seemed to reset the bowl, and then the beater fit perfectly with a 1/4 turn back from the lowest setting. I've been happily making double and triple batches of cookies since. It cleans up like a dream.

I purchased this item to replace the original painted aluminum beater that had developed chips in its surface, likely from mishandling. The replacement beater I received is made of solid stainless steel. It is highly polished, and has the look and feel of quality not often seen these days.. It has a slightly different beater pattern but does the job the same as the original, but is more durable and easier to clean.For those concerned about the possibility of food contamination due to the open-hole beater mounting design, take a look at your original Kitchen-Aid beater. Mine has a hole at the bottom of the motor shaft mounting opening, from which accumulated debris could fall into the mixing bowl. The design of this replacement beater makes that less likely because there is no place for debris to accumulate. The original beater, with its semi-closed shaft mounting makes it easy for contaminant accumulation to go unnoticed during cleaning.

This paddle attachment works great with the KitchenAid mixer! Easy to wash & can even throw in the dishwasher! Doesn’t peel like the white attachment that comes with the KitchenAid - great purchase if you use this attachment a lot!

I bought this for my 3.5 qt kitchenaid mixer......Love that you can put in dishwasher and that it's available for my size mixer. Make sure you ensure compatibility with yours.

These are much nicer quality than the attachments that come with the kitchen aid mixer. These are stainless steel, no paint to chip off.

I have purchased several of these and this particular one is amazing! Works great. In my experience the coated ones are junk. They peel off in short order. I decided to get stainless this time and so glad I did.

The casting was poorly done. There was metal missing from the top of the casting. It was ground down and polished. It was ignored and should have been stopped by quality control.The beater flops around and impacts the mixing bowl due to poor fitment. It's flops only in one axis creating an elliptical wobble.***The replacement fits better, not as well as the Kitchenaid one. The replacement is functional and otherwise well finished. Updated to four stars. The stainless steel looks to be a nice upgrade over the Kitchenaid one with a flaking white coating.

Two main selling points:1 Stainless steel. Easy to clean; you can earn throw it in the dishwasher.2 The hollowing out of the fitting mechanism. I was having trouble with the old beater, because after about a gazillion years there was enough accumulated crud in the tunnel where the batter was inserted, that the beater was difficult to put on.I can hardly wait to replace the whisk and kneading attachments, too.

I was so worried about the one that came with my Kitchenaide mixer - enamel was wearing and chipping off into my batters and bread & what was underneath!?! It looked like lead. This is Stainless steel and Food Safe!
