Your cart is empty. This 30' stainless steel curved racking cane has the same external dimensions as the plastic canes, but has a larger inside diameter, which allows for a smoother, faster flow. Stainless steel is the preferred material for most brewers because it doesn't scratch like plastic can, which could lead to contamination of your brews. This will be the last racking cane you will ever buy. Use 5/16' ID tubing with this racking cane.

Most racking canes I've seen or have used are plastic which is fine for a hobbyist, I found this while shopping around and impulse-purchased it. The stainless steel fulfills the same job as the plastic and is unlikely to improve your situation but that didn't stop me from wanting it.It's a robust unit and is likely to soldier on for years (decades?) to come.

Very good racking cane with no issues.Arrived on time and was packaged well. The one I received is just as in the picture with a 90 degree bend. Some canes I have go past that so you can hook onto the vessel you are transferring to.Just be aware of what style it is.I would highly recommend

This cane works great with those orange caps to do very LOW pressure carboy transfers. I would NOT attempt a pressure transfer using a glass carboy.

This racking cane works perfect for transferring beer from my carboys to a bottling bucket. It also works great for doing a closed transfer from a carboy to a keg. It fits perfectly in the standard Orange carboy caps. It is quality stainless steel construction, and shipped on time, and packaged properly to avoid any damage.

This could have been a 5 star review. The item came poking out of the large envelope it was in. It was slightly bent and I had to straighten it a tad but nothing major. But for 9.99, I am pleased. The ends were smooth with no burrs and it was bent without a kink.

In my review, I now know that I am supposed to focus on the *features* of this product rather than other aspects of my purchase. That said, I will say that I am completely disappointed with the "features" of these racking canes. In the attached pics you will notice the severe bending in both of the canes. What is the purpose of this "feature"? This does not seem to make the product more suitable for racking beer from a carboy. Unless of course, this feature was introduced by another party in the process -- to remedy that I might suggest adding a "feature" such as stiff cardboard on both sides of the product to maintain structural integrity. Hopefully the seller will improve this feature in the near future.

It worked fine in my all my carboys (3, 5, and 6 gallon) and also the 15 gallon plastic container.
