...but a cat apparently has thicker hair. I'd hoped to use this fine-tooth comb to remove small mats on our cat's coat. A flea comb has worked well before, and the hamster brush is similar. However, it appears to be even finer than the flea comb, so it's not easy to drag the comb through her hair, matted or not.The comb is nicely designed and solidly built, so I'm positive it will be very useful for smaller animals with finer hair.
