I found this brush set to be very effective for scrubbing off grime. The steel bristles are very stiff and don’t give way to pressure. I used them to remove build up from an old PVC tub and they worked great. I do believe these will scratch a more delicate surface so I recommend using them with care or at minimum, wrapping the brush head with a towel you don’t mind ruining. Great brushes. I recommend. Hope this honest review helps someone.

Bigger then expected, especially the retangular brush. Very super stiff wire. Reason for one star off. Probably good for scraping paint off of concreate ?

I use this wired brush to clean off my ladders at work and it cleans the corners pretty good, this isn't the normal use but it's works great.

The individual bristles are very small in diameter and kink or permanently bend easily. Otherwise solidly built and comfortable. Light to medium duty is a better description.

I used these to assist with stripping the paint off my aluminum boatI chose them because they are ‘stainless’, and I wanted alloy on alloy for cleaning the aluminum.Around the fifth day or so, they started rusting. Uhoh. I understand that there’s different grades of stainless, and it can be a delicate balance of strength vs corrosion resistance. And with the price, I suppose I can’t be all that surprised
