How it works：
The lighting strips equip 2 motion sensor, so the light will be autocratically activated by your movements when you reach the top and bottom stair. Besides, you can also set the programs (flowing light effects, gradual lighting,step one by one, etc.) you prefer. After a set period, the lights on the stairs automatically fade in and out. Lights work wonderful. Installed on a finished set of stairs. I am still trying to figure out how to get them to turn on via motion only and have them all turn on. There are so many different options that it’s complicated.My biggest concern if finishing behind the stairs again. Will the lights ever stop working ? If they do then I have to take apart a finished area of the house to fix them. Would be very inconvenient.Overall I think we will figure it out and make it work.

My one problem is they turn off in the wrong order. Going up the steps they light from bottom up but turn off top down so you may not make it before the lights go out

You can chalk this up as a product that you didn't know you needed, until you actually had it. Because it makes a tremendous first impression on guests when you have company over. I thought that the process of setting it up would be very difficult, but it went by quicker than I had expected (especially working with one other person). The final result is just amazing looking. And I love that soft golden glow because it's a "warm" light rather than some 6500k temp light, which I feel is a bit too artificial looking and harsh for applications like this. You have to see it to appreciate it, so I would suggest ordering it and at least trying it out for a week.

Motion activated, these lights are great to highlight steps when going up or down. Easy to install with a good manual. Recommended for ease of install and use.

Installation was a quick, and the stairs look fantastic. The brightness is impressive, they look great and remain sensitive. The best part is the various time delay options, which are easy to set.
