These rods are very sturdy and so extremely easy to install. Once I had the runner in place, the rods went in with no issues whatsoever. Initially, I thought about painting them a different color, but the black looks great. Another reviewer mentioned breaking screws. I put the screws in by hand and had no problems. Was careful not to over tighten them. Didn't need to pre-drill the holes, the screws were a cinch. All in all, great product.

Just installed a runner on a stairway and I wanted something to help hold the rug and gave it a classic look. The install was about 5 minutes for two including taking it out of the box 😀. Really happy with the look. To note each one is three pieces. Two end pieces that are fused to the bracket and the rod. It makes the install super easy.

I wish they were a thicker and more prominent on my stairs.It turned out a 2x8 carpet is actually a little wider than that. So, my stair rods can barely be seen.

I love them! I bought a washable rug and needed these rods to finish the look! They were simple to install and gave my stairs the finishing touch it needed

The rods look nice and are easy and straightforward to install. After drilling pilot holes and having the first four screw heads break off, I decided it wasn’t me. I bought better screws and had no further problems (other than the broken off screws in my stair case).

I’ve installed 3 rods so far and have 10 more to go… I’ve had 4 screws snap on me so far… PITA to remove. The supplied screws are garbage, I’d recommend using better screws for a trouble free install. Otherwise the rods and end pieces are nice.
