I purchased this kit to add a natural gas heater to my basement and it worked beautifully. The hose has great flexibility and the assortment of fittings should meet every need. The hose installed easily with no leaks at all. The valve looks to be the full port type and is of good quality.They also give you an ample supply of Teflon thread tape. Overall a really nice kit for the money...

This quick connect hose allowed me to install and de-install a gas heater when needed for when the power goes out. Works great.

This is a good kit, designed to connect a 1/2†gas pipe to a range, wall heater, or other appliance. The shut off is FIP on one end and a flare to connect the flex on the other. They supply three different adaptors to use to connect the flex to the appliance. I did take off a star because they include a little roll of white Teflon tape. You should NEVER use white tape with gas. Go to the hardware store and buy a roll of the yellow stuff made for gas. They should be ashamed for putting the white stuff in this package.

Used this when I changed out my gas cooktop. Came with enough connecters that I didn't have to modify anything, and the included tape saved me a few dollars as well. Worked perfectly, no leaks.

This kit is identical to the Mr. Heater brand kit, from packaging to contents. The only difference I can find is the type of coating used on the adapter fittings. I bought three of these to install a propane water heater, refrigerator and cooktop in my bus conversion. I could have used a bit more length, but that’s my fault. They feel like quality kits, the shutoff valve is quality brass, and the included adapter fittings made the job a breeze. Fuel-grade sealing tape was included, which was a bonus. Separately, the parts would run you another $15-20 above the price of this kit.

The gas valve turns so hard you can’t hardly turn it. Don’t know why that would be but it doesn’t help if you wanted to turn it off quickly.

It was shorter than I was expecting, but I should have read the description.... So that was completely my fault. Everything else was great!!!! Easy to thread on, was easily bendable. I liked everything about it.

First, if you don't know what you're doing, don't attempt any work on your gas line without some kind of training or professional guidance, even if that professional is your brother-in-law. Gas isn't for DIY. But if it was, this kit would be a cheap solution to replace the valve and line when you swap out that old gas range for a new one. All the parts fit together, used standard thread types, and fit the first time without any leaks.
