HOW TO EXTEND THE LIFE OF YOUR GRILL?
❅ Make sure to clean your grill parts before using.
❅ Try to get as much liquid off as possible before placing the food on the grill and if using a BBQ sauce, wait until the last 5-10 minutes of grilling before applying it to your food.
❅ Avoid using excessive marinade and applying BBQ sauce too early in the grilling process as it will result in the sugar burning causing a dark color.
❅ If you need to store your grill for a long period of time, heavily coat them in cooking oil, wrap them in a plastic bag and store in your covered grill.

I finally replaced the original, 10 year old, Webber flavor bars with these. They fit perfectly. Slightly less thick then the Webber brand but no difference in performance. Replacing my flavor bars helped stop all the flare ups I was getting..

The bars are definitely thinner than the Weber originals but they do the job.

My old Summit grill has really lasted a long time, but as expected the flavorizer bars do eventually wear out. These seem to be fine, will have to see how long they last buy the grill is already 16 tears old, so why spend another $75 for OEM?

Better off paying the freight for real Weber parts... they turned color ofter first use. Not exactly heavy duty.
