Listed as fitting the 1600 series, but the 1700 and 1800 series are the same size with just upgraded electronic features. It fits them all.

It fits and does what it is supposed to. It could snap into place a bit better but overall I'm happy.

Perfect solution to keep the GX1700 dry. I played around with the idea of just making a fabric cover for it, however in the end it was much easier to just buy this and it looks good when you have this on next to all your other electronics. Please note that you will need to purchase this item, vs it coming with the radio itself (only downside)
