I was getting the door jar indicator. I learned that these little switches can go bad. It’s not terribly difficult to get into the door panel if you’ve done things like this. If you never have done something like this or don’t have the tools I would leave it alone because there’s a chance that you could mess up some of the lock hardware, connectors and pieces that are tiny and can become brittle and easy to break as the vehicle ages.

Works just fine. The old ford switches are knows to fail often. While they are a real pain to install on a 2002 explorer, it fixes the issue with the alarm going off, dome light staying on or the door ajar alarm going off while driving.

Solo segurese de encargar el lado correcto yo me equivoqué pero aún a si quedo perfectamente aun que solo me tocó desarmas más la chapa, pero fuera de eso recomiendo la pieza.
