my ignition wouldn't engage because the old key cylinder was broken. It would turn just not far enough to make the rod engage the starter switch. Cheap and moderately easy fix if you're handy. Youtube can definitely guide you. Oh and I pulled my old one out and found the problem before ordering parts.. check it first.

If you know what you're doing, it's a simple installation. If you don't, there are dozens of how-to videos online. This ignition switch fit my blazer perfectly.

This key switch was a direct factory replacement. Installation takes a few different types of special tools to get this job done. If you have all the tools the whole process only takes about 20 minutes. If you don't have or know what you need this might be a job for someone who does. Switch is a great product and comes with 2 keys, Great value for this item! I would highly recommend this product!
