The solenoid is the exact duplicate for my 1960 Jeep starter solenoid that is mounted directly onto the starter. The only adjustment is to slightly bend the mounting tabs to fit the curve of the starter. This solenoid on a Jeep bolts directly to the starter unlike Fords that bolt to the wheel well.. Works great and a good value for the price. Got the part fast.

Used in my 85 Ford Ranger. Worked fine for a year, but then the contacts welded and now won’t work.Mine was abused a bit while working to get the truck running, but should be fine for daily use.
