I got this tray for two reasons. First, I have two sets of balls that I use. Secondly, I like to keep my pool balls clean and this tray works great for handling them while cleaning. The balls fit perfectly in the tray. I have the standard 2 1/4" balls, both sets. The tray is your standard plastic. I wouldn't say that it is super sturdy but it will hold the balls without bending. I can use this to store the balls that are not being played. Before, I was using the box the balls came in but that is a little harder to do. Using this tray is much easier though the balls can get dusty. But putting a hand towel over the top of them solves that problem. Overall I am very happy with this tray. I would definitely get another one if I needed it.

Plastic tray for you to put your balls in when they are not in use - handy and effective and worth the price IMHO.I have a couple of sets of ball for my pool table (one numbered set and one pub style orange and yellow) so I now have a rack to store the non-plying set.Very good and does the job required.

We've got a 3 in 1 games table that comes with smaller scale pool balls.I noted that the title of this states "2 1/4-Inch or less" but upon inserting my balls into this tray, they're not big enough to fill the cavernous gaps.Therefore if you've got 2 1/4-Inch balls I think this will be ideal. My balls still do the job but leave it looking unfilled.
