I had to get this as a replacement for my vacuum, different than the one I had this one doesn’t stretch, however it’s pretty long, it fits perfectly and allows me to reach more spaces. Recommend it!

I bought this as a replacement for the hose that came with my Stanley SL18115P shop vaccum because the end of the hose - with the nuzzle - literally broke clean off in a straight line after like a year of near daily use. I never slammed it or got it caught in a door or anything so I don't understand how it broke.Regardless, this hose is better in every possible way. It's lighter. It's longer. It's way more flexible than the rigid hose that came with the vacuum. It's so much better that it almost genuinely feels like an intentional scam to sell the vacuum with a bad hose so that you have to pay $30 - nearly half the price of the vacuum itself - for a superior replacement.

Having purchased a Kenmore branded shop vac from Lowe's, it was great to be able to find the right replacement hose, since there's a clip mechanism at the vacuum end of the hose that is very particular to the model.

As described, his is not the size of hose that comes with the vacuum so you will need to replace all of the tools with smaller ones. It does appear to be of roughly the same quality as the OE one and is a far more common size (my local menards does not carry any parts or attachments for the 1 7/8 size of the original hose, but has plenty of options for this hose).

Got the wrong hose in the right box first. Made a claim for the same product to be sent again and returned the other. Was a very easy process. Hope this one lasts longer than the original. I’ve only had the vacuum for 6 months. Vac model # in pics.
