We have had our Adventure Press for 8 months now. It has performed flawlessly and makes great coffee (we like it strong!). It takes about 7 minutes from boiling of the water (we use an induction plate at home and in RV) to coffee: boil water, place three heaping coffee scoops of pre-ground dark roast from Trader Joe’s - YUM, stir till all grounds are wet and you see the crema, cover and set timer for 4 minutes and press. Voila. Enough to make two Yeti 14 oz mugs of coffee! Delicious!I have a brush I use to brush the grounds from the bottom of the press and a stiff silicone spatula to scoop out the grounds in bottom of pot. Easy to make another pot if we want more or make less by splitting 14 oz between us.We LOVE it for our RV as coffee grounds are my nemesis. Everything we have used gets grounds everywhere and I don’t want them in my RV tank. I have perfected almost zero grounds with the above method. We have talked about getting another one for the house as I keep bringing it in for coffee at home! Well made, light, durable, and I think of myself as somewhat of a coffee snob (other than I don’t grind my own beans……yet!)For the price, get 1 or 2!!!!

I love coffee but every-time we go camping I have no easy way to make it. This is by far the simplest system I’ve found and it’s very well made. It’s metal and can be used with water directly on the fire, I used a jet boil and dumped the water in because it was easier. The coffee turned out great with no grinds. The unit has a simple coffee press system made of a heavy duty plastic. It’s very light weight and easy to pack. It would work great if you are hiking a long way. You first place the amount of coffee in the bottom, I did about 2 tbsp. Then I poured in boiling water (if you boil on fire you will want to boil the grounds with it). I then waited about 5 min then used the press. Coffee turned out perfect. Clean up was super easy. The screen usually is the worse part to clean but this one was easy.

As with many backpackers and multi-day campers, I'm always looking for a better multi-function gadget for my travels. If you are a coffee/caffeine addict (like me) and need REAL fresh brewed coffee to start your mornings, it's normally a trade-off between weight (a French Press) or convenience (crappy sour or bitter concentrate/powder/instant brands). In the past, I must admit I opted for added weight by carrying a 24-oz insulated French Press mug and a small hand-crank coffee grinder. I hate pour-over methods because they are a real pain-in-the-behind and anyone who opts for cowboy coffee would probably drink their own bath water.Stanley has hit a home run with their Adventure All-in-One Boil and Brew system. The pot holds over 32-oz/1-liter of water, and Stanley's unique French Press design eliminates the usual center rod found on most presses. This allows you to store your micro burner or alcohol stove plus fuel or other accessories inside the pot. Any added storage space is a welcome advantage within my pack. There are so many ways to use this coffee pot/French Press ... and I'm still finding new ways to use it while in the back country. From making soups, noodles, stews, boiling hot dogs, to sterilizing water for the next day's trek ... not to mention making great coffee. The pot will make enough hot water to rehydrate a 2-person meal AND still brew two cups of fresh coffee (or tea). It is very easy to clean and does not retain any odor or odd tastes from preparing previous meals (or coffee).Since it is constructed of high-quality stainless steel, you can put the pot onto a small bed of coals, on an alcohol or white gas stove, or on a folding wood burning stove - just take care not to let tall flames melt the lid. (I use the top of a large tin-can to cover the pot when using a wood fire or alcohol burner). The folding handles are very sturdy and work well - just make sure you take care not to burn yourself because the handles can get VERY HOT when boiling or cooking. I use either my leather gloves or a bandana when grabbing the handles.Once you have used this Stanely Adventure All-in-One Boil and Brew French Press/backpacking pot system, you will never want to take another camping trip without it!It's replaced my 24-oz insulated (heavy) French Press mug, my wide bottom 1.2 liter stainless pot, the pot lid, and my smaller 20-oz stainless camp cup.HINT: TRUST ME ON THIS. Make sure you use coffee that is specifically ground for a French Press!Smaller granules will clog the metal filter and pushing harder on the press may allow small grounds to by-pass the silicon seals. Coffee grounds should be the size of Kosher salt - NOT THE SIZE OF SAND, TABLE SALT, OR REFINED WHITE SUGAR!To be clear, I bought this unit on Amazon and I am NOT a paid spokesperson of Stanley, so my opinion and comments come from using this unit in real world situations. I am not compensated in any way for this review.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of coffee this makes. Oftentimes, a French press can make the coffee a bit grainy, especially those that are more affordable. Not only was this a very reasonable price, but I love the strength and texture of the coffee it makes. I even use it at home instead of my regular coffee machine, just putting it directly on the stove top. It makes a good sized cup of coffee for how small and light it is, a great combination for camping or rv-ing. We use it as a simple kettle as well to make teas and hot chocolates. It holds up well to travel, and is easy to clean when you’re in the field.

Gostei bastante.Além de robusta, é muito funcional e fácil de lavar.Se o fogo ficar concentrado apenas no fundo, a alça não esquenta o suficiente para queimar as mãos.

Darf in keinem Campingurlaub fehlen. Jedes mal wird die Kanne eingepackt. Macht guten Kaffee und hält lange warm. Easy zum bedienen und die Qualität ist top.

Makes great coffee and is well made. Not sure how long the rubber seals will last though and be aware this is huge. Not something for backpacking but more for packing in the car for camping trips
