No I didn't need 4 of these. One lasts a long time. I am replacing one I have had for years that just needs a new head. The head replacements are almost as expensive as the tool. HoweverThis 4 pack at $16 bucks ($4 each) is hard to pass up. The blade replacements are more than $4 bucks. So buy this 4 piece and give 2 of them away to your friends. They work great to smooth an edge before final sanding, or smooth out a bad rough spot quickly before your finish sand.If you get one, you will wonder why you didn't have one of these all along.
