Got this to use with my resin molds. Not sticky or weird feeling, resin pops right out of molds after using with a quick spray. Works well, easy self explanatory, very little smell, and definitely worth the cost. My husband took the second van to use in his woodshop and for his own projects.

The Stanley Silicone Lubricant is a solid choice for both mold release and general lubrication needs. It works effectively on various materials like epoxy resin, plastics, and textiles, ensuring smooth separation and preventing sticking. The ability to withstand extreme temperatures ranging from -40°F to 392°F makes it reliable for demanding conditions. The moisture-repelling feature is particularly useful, keeping surfaces dry while preventing corrosion. It leaves a clean, residue-free finish, which minimizes maintenance efforts. Its versatility stands out as it works not only for mold release but also for lubrication in mechanical parts and tools.Overall, this lubricant is effective, clean, and easy to apply, making it a useful addition to both professional and DIY toolkits.

I first tested this on cardboard to see if it had a nice lubrication, and even on cardboard it was a silky soft feel under my fingers. I have plans to use this as a mold release for small river tables, but, plans have been delayed due to my craft area being expanded to the garage. As far as molds go, I do not know for certain how well this will perform, but, if what I have used it on is any indication of how well it works, I have full confidence in this product. This has almost no smell to it. Atleast my nose does not indicate any. That's not to say it has none, just that it's subtle enough I cannot smell it. I have used this on squeaky hinges and it works to stop those crazy squeaks. The only issue I had with this, is I did not wear gloves when I did so, sprayed my hands, and it felt like I couldn't get this off my hands. Even after soap and water, it still felt like it was stuck to my skin. Great indicator it is water proof, but not so good if you actually want it off. I sprayed my hands with rubbing alcohol, 91 percent, and that worked though, so not a whole entire issue. I will just remember to wear gloves every time I do use this. I m sure had I spent longer using soap to scrub this off, that would have worked, but, rubbing alcohol worked with one go, so if future skin contact happens, that is what I will go to first. This product does not lose any points for this, just felt I should add it to my review. On the contrary, it states it pushes out moisture, and it not coming off immediately when put under the faucet, just proves that it does as it states. So it gains points for that. Overall, have not used it yet for its intended purpose, but, it is quality, and any doubts I may have had prior to using on other things besides epoxy, have been erased. No concerns about if it will work for epoxy now. If that changes, or I am wrong about that, I will be back to update my review. But, even if it fails with epoxy, it's still is a great choice for squeaky weather exposed hinges, so it will not be a loss in my book.

I needed some new spray lubricant & saw this. So I went ahead and ordered it. It's a silicone lubricant that doesn't have silicone in it. I'm not sure what to think about that. But in any case it does a good job. The only thing that bugs me about this can is the spray tip. It says fine, but it's a fine mist type spray. The cap doesn't have a notch in it to put a spray straw in it. It makes getting the contents into tight places difficult. Plus the tip is on there, I tried replacing it with one that could take a straw but it wouldn't come off. Not without ruining the valve probably. But that's my only issue. It would save me wasting lubricant trying to spray it in tight spots. The stuff does do the job though. I can't complain about that. It's worth the price.
