I have an office chair purchased from Office Depot. The arms rests had worn out completely. They measured 4" from hole to hole. These fit perfectly and reattached in minutes!

My son's armrests had been cracked for the last 2-3 years and he moved back home during the Covid-19 outbreak. I spotted him wearing a sweatshirt to avoid scratching his elbows and forearms on the broken plastic. When I checked online I spotted these and offered to replace his armrests. I was worried about the fit, but these went on easily and the fit was spot on. The chair looks new again and he is super happy with the upgrade.

I had worn out one of the arm rests on my desk chair, but I didn’t want to replace the entire chair. Fortunately I was able to find these replacement parts on Amazon, and they worked great. As you can see from the photos the old arms (on the left) have a little different shape, but they are sized similarly and most importantly the screw holes on the bottom lined up perfectly. The old arm rests may have had a bit more padding than the replacements, but for most users I can’t imagine that would be of concern. In the last photo you will see two machine screws. The one on the left came with the new arm rests. The one on the right with the blue paint is from the old arm rests. As you can see the new screws are longer than the old ones and as it turned out were actually too long to work on my specific chair. However I couldn’t reuse the old screws because they have a tighter thread pattern than the new arm rests required. I don’t blame the manufacturer for this problem. There is no way they could know the exact chair on which these were to be installed, so I am sure they provide screws that will “work for most.†The screws for most just didn’t happen to work for me. No big deal. I was able to secure shorter screws with the right thread pattern from my local Ace Hardware store for ~$2.00 and complete the installation.Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and am happy to recommend to others.

My office chair is several years old, and I've been living with deteriorating arm pads (cracked top surface) for a few months. The wife suggested I "order new ones"--I didn't even know these arm pads were sold separately. These Staples armrest pads should fit your typical office chair, as long as the mounting screw holes are 4 inches apart. They are equal to the "Original Equipment Manufacturer"/OEM arm-pads that came with my office chair (though slightly thinner), and are just as comfortable. The materials--man-made foam interior, with more durable polyurethane surface, atop a metal mounting substructure--are just like OEM.I also like that these arm pads came with 4x M6 mounting screws. The screws also have some type of generic thread locker ("Loctite"). Installation takes only a few minutes, and only requires a Phillips screwdriver. These Staples armrest pads are well made, a good value, and should extend the life of your office chair.

I was looking for armrests that were one inch deep at the front because that was the depth of my original armrests, even though a spacer was used to give the armrest height. These fit flat but are comfortable and sturdy. They have encased foam that will soften up with time. Makes the chair look and feel brand new. After getting another set of armrests to compare, I'm glad I selected this pair to keep.

I have an old office chair and the arm rest was falling apart. I bought these in hopes of saving them from the trash dump. These arm rest fit great. They look just like the old arm rest and felt great. When I tried to put them on, I noticed that the provide screws were a bit long. I just added a couple of washers and that did the trick.

My original arm rests were pretty beat up. I figured these should be a decent replacement. Only issue with them are the screws are pretty long. I had the chair on its side when installing. It wasn’t until I flipped it right side up that I noticed the screw pushing out of the top. I’m lucky I didn’t puncture through. Ended up using the old screws from the previous arm rests. Looks and works as expected.

My desk chair needed new armpads to replace the splitting originals. The supplied 4 screws were twice as long as needed. I had to purchase 4 new metric screws 6mm x 12mm to properly install pads so that the too long provided screws would not stick up in new pads. Be careful to check the length for your application before installing and puncturing your new pads.
