It's great.. a simple to use in line guage . The kit includes most or many of the connectors required to install the guage in line . Very reasonalble price when you consider all of the different connectorsShipping was great , as I received my kit in 5 days

Kit lacks some fittings and another hose to make it a great pressure tester. Spent another $30 bucks to cover my needs. Fortunately Amazon had all the plumbing I needed to get the job done. Over priced for what you get in the kit.

The Star Products Power Steering tester seemed to be good quality, and worked great on the 1 st run testing the old pump.High pressure line broke when testing the newly installed steering pump - misting power steering fluid all throughout the engine bay.Yes, I could have replaced the hose line and the tester would have worked just fine - ended up returning and using a tool rental.Was disappointed in the poor quality hose line - expected better for the priceThe gauges / tester and adapters looked well made, on that would buy again - but throwing in a cheap hose is inexcusable

Worked as advertised. I was worried about replacing the pump again and wanted to ensure I didn't have a restriction or defective valving in the box. Found idle pressure was great, but would only produce 200 psi deadhead. So, new pump and it's 100x better. It'll be a handy tool to have at work for future diagnostic's. Only issue I have is you are limited on what orientation to install it due to differences in threads on the adapters. It connected right up at the box, but may be a time I want to test at the pump, but I'll deal with it when the time comes.

I used this to check the PS pump pressure on my 09 Sprinter.It had all of the required adapters.

We purchased the gauge set to diagnose a power steering problem. With the gauge connected it would rear 0 psi when the engine was idling. With this we thought the pump was bad so we replaced the pump. Same thing. We had to install a lower pressure gauge onto this setup to get a reading. It ended up costing us more because of this poor quality tool.

Was assembling -6 fittings to manifold to test my car. Noticed gauge was already 200psi with nothing connected. Tapped on gauge and climbed higher! Replace the gauge or it could have you replacing wrong parts!
