we absolutely love this nightlight. we use it for our 3 yr old twins room. its easy to install, fun to look at, makes our toddlers calmer and safe at night knowing they have a galaxy in their celling. on a plus i like that it comes with a remote that i control the timer and settings. i learned that if you press the middle button on the astronauts backpack the timer will last longer turned it on at 7pm and lights didn't turn off until 4am.

This light is breathtaking! The different color options, the amazing colors, and so much fun for the kids. The light comes with a remote and the base has a separate light. The price and the quality is great!

Pretty when you turn it on but it turns off after literally 30 seconds and will not stay on no matter what. On top of that the remote give to go with it doesn't work unless you are trying to turn on the product and doesn't change what should be projected like it says.

I got this on impulse because I have a much simpler one that I find quite relaxing at night so I thought this might be a nice upgrade and honestly, it is. The stars are green (which seems a bit odd, but it works) and you have several color choices for the swirling nebula. You can adjust the speed and brightness of how fast the nebula swirls and how fast the stars fade in and out. The astronaut's head is round and magnetically attached, so it's easy to reposition and aim the projector where you'd like. I have a fairly large bedroom and the projection covers most of one wall and a large swath of ceiling. Probably a 15'x15' area.Now for the downside. The remote control (which makes using it easier, though there are buttons on the back) died within a few days and new batteries, etc have not helped. I've considered asking for a replacement, but it hasn't been my highest priority. Second problem, the astronaut is quite top heavy so not intensely stable, especially since his stand is just barely big enough. The problem is made worse by the fact that his feet are only kinda stuck to the stand (and held there by friction). If jarred much, he breaks free of the surly bonds of earth and...faceplants.Ultimately, some would argue that since I bought the cheapest one, I got what I paid for, but the projector does work and is really neat (and I'm cheap...er...frugal), and it looks like most of the low end projectors are pretty similar. The figure is well sculpted and cute as the dickens even with his...er...stability issues. so if the remote is important to you or your cats are even more rowdy than mine (unlikely, but possible), you might want to pony up a few more bucks and get one of the nicer versions, but I have to admit, I like the little guy even if sometimes he feels like a frat rat who's lost his care keys after a late night bender.

Lights up the whole room and is really cute. So far so good on the remote. Made better than I expected. Doesn't tip over easily
