My 8 year old son loves these star wars toys. They are not full die cast metal but they are very well made and detailed. I found them to be higher quality then the ones I have found at other stores. The detail on the products were very good compared to cheaper toys. For example on the tie fighter there is a little door you can open and they have a little guy molded into the seat. This is a detail I would not normally expect. Anyway my son plays with these often as he is a big star wars fan. He often makes them fight in the sky. I would love it if they had equal dark side and rebal force ships so they could battle better against each other. Having the new ship from the movie was a very nice touch. My son has played with these for some time and none of them have broken on him yet. I do not really find the stands useful they would be good if you wanted to set them on a desk but not very functional to put on your finger and play with as I assume is designed. You will not regret buying these for the cost.

This is an excellent gift for Star Wars fans. If you’re familiar with the series - and don’t know what ship to buy this is a great place to start. Very memorable ships are included at a very reasonable price. Only one of these four ships can be bought separately (#12. Poe Dameron’s Black X-Wing) - the other ships can only be found in this four pack. For example, the Millenium Falcon can be found individually (#1) but it is not Han Solo’s and Chewbacca’s Millenium Falcon, it’s a slightly different one and is labeled as “Rey & Chewbacca’s Millenium Falcon†(The Force Awakens). The classic Tie Fighter (A New Hope) can only be found in this four pack (and is completely metal unlike the individual First Order Tie Fighters) - and finally, the other X-Wing, although Very similar to X-Wing (#7) is actually Biggs Darklighter’s (A New Hope). The Good: The tie fighter has the "wings" of metal, not like the "new" tie figther that has them of plastic (i'm talking about the black one ) The x wings open and close the s-foils, and seem well built, specially the black one. The millenium falcon Looks good, has both cannons as moveable parts (up and down cannons) and the dish is the round one and also moves, so it is the old falcon, not the new one. They all come with black standsThe Bad: The tie fighther door keeps opening by itself even at stand it wont stay fully closed, The x-wing from episodes 4-6 has the problem to keep the wings open or closed, however its less bothering than on the individual model (the black x-wing doesnt have the prolem btw) The millenium falcon is not that well built, a lesser quality than the "new" millnium falcon sold separately.My comment: Good set for the collector of star wars, nice to have them. Also forget to mention the x-wing from episodes 4-6 has different painting than the stand alone version, also the astrodroid seems more like an R5.

My 3 yr old loves these. It's been a couple of months now, and he'll still play with them, even after the initial excitement has faded. Canopy door opens on both X-wing fighters, and the TIE fighter. The millennium falcon has a rotating gun on top and bottom. The X-wings spread apart a bit. One of the guns on one of the X-wings was not glued on well, so it came off, but easy to put back on, and glue. Most of the parts are die-cast steel, so sturdy. Stands do come in handy, as he likes to set them up on the table.

These are surprisingly well built toys! They would be great as desk top decoration or as toys for small kids! They are farely tough, and made of mostly metal (with some plastic bits). A fair warning that the X-wings laser cannons break off easily as they are plastic, so be awar of that if buying for small children (besides those pieces, they are tough toys and can survive a beating).

These were so inexpensive I was shocked at how good the quality is. Mixed materials including plastic and metal. They are fragile but sturdy. Definitely not for play but they will make great display pieces for the Star Wars fan in your life. Get them, you won't be disappointed!

Great little set! They are actually a little bigger than I was expecting at this price, which is a good thing. Each one has little hidden features, like the x-wings' wings open and close and the tie fighter opens to reveal the pilot. May be a little fragile for rough play since some of the X-wing parts look like they might bend under stress, but for my purposes (sitting on my desk at work) they look great!

Good but not exceptional. About the build quality you would expect out of this size. The one exception is the "old" X-Wing, which is pretty terrible. Not only do the wings not stay open, but they wobble around even when closed. Very disappointing. By contrast the Poe Dameron version works as expected; the wings stay in place when opened and are stable when closed. I can't figure out how they got one so right and the other so very wrong.Another odd detail, the TIE Fighter is diecast metal, not plastic like the black First Order version. Weird.So, -1 star for the X-Wing, but +1 for the TIE. Hence 3 total. Maybe 3.5 since the Falcon is pretty good actually.

Muy bien detallado y de mucha calidad el producto. En fotografÃa no se alcanza a notar el acabado pero en las manos es muy linda cada nave y el plus está en que es completamente de metal la TIE FIGHTER. La caja llegó completamente intacta.Me encantó!!!!!

Calidad muy mala, la verdad recomiendo mas los que produjo Hot Wheels esos tienen mejor calidad que estos, pero si no te impora mucho los detalles, pues adelante.
