8 yeard old loves it...the new hasnt worn off, as any time that star wars is mentioned, he donnes this helmet and runs around everywhere like He is Finn or some other "Good Light Side" storm trooper...which I can appreciate much more than some punk storm dooper from the Dark side.Seems that many have asked about the back...it had the straps that come together in a "T" configuration and is very adjustable and strong. I wouldnt call this a half-helmet but more like a 2/3 helmet maybe....it really looks great

This was so well made and GRANDSON LOVED IT... so did dad. Dad was a bit more than jealous and bargaining to borrow it! lol

Half mask, not full helmet (BIG disappointment).Supposedly a voice changer, but could not get that to function.However, there aren't a lot of options out there either. It's quality made, fit me and my seven year old, and is incredibly cool. Just wish they could have made it a full helmet at the price point I purchased it for (almost $50).

Go it for my son on his birthday and up to this day he still plays with it. Only thing Id recommend is that the speaker be a little more loud.

Very nice mask, it is not a helmet the back is open, Hard plastic and has nice detail. The voice changer and speaker are very cheap and honestly not worth using they should remove them and sell just the mask for 15-20 dollars less. The speaker is very weak and will not cover up your own voice when you talk. The microphone is of the same quality.

Well it was not the Mask, it was the dirt all over it when I received it. Come on Amazon!!, don' t you think items should b e inspected before shipping? Very surprised, not a good practice unless you discount it for the 1/2 hr I spent cleaning it....Quality Control needs a little sprucing up!.

We bought this for my four year old for halloween. The back is open but it has several straps that allow you to adjust the fit for the size of the head and those stay secure when you fasten them. My son loves voice part of this mask. Seems very durable and able to withstand a four and two year old playing with it without being harmed.
